Happy 1st Birthday, Lila Cate!

Lila Cate turned one on October 31. Our Halloween baby has been such a blessing. I have enjoyed every single day watching you grow. You have been such a sweet, easygoing baby and you have brought such joy to our family. I enjoy watching you and your brother interact more than anything. He is so sweet to you (most of the time) and makes you laugh more than any one else.

Milestones:
October 5 - Started walking with her alligator walker
October 6 - I finally dropped her 10 pm feeding, so she's now just nursing 5 times a day (7a, 10a, 1p, 4p, 7p). She consistently sleeps from 7p to 7a.
October 10 - Stood up by herself without holding on to anything
October 24 - Threw up for the first time...in the car :( It was a one-time deal.
October 25 - Got her next 2 top teeth (the ones on either side of her front teeth)
October 30 - Has really started talking more in the last week and says dog, cat, hi, bye, da, ma, ball. Although she randomly said ma-ma earlier, she's finally starting to say it often and associating it with me!

My mom came in town from October 11-13 to babysit while we went to a wedding in Roanoke. Andrew's boss got married. We greatly appreciate her coming to help so that we were both able to attend the wedding!

On October 18, we went to Richmond to visit Joe and Georgia Lenoir and meet Graham. Elizabeth and Ericson were also there with Edward and Olive. It was great to see old friends.

On October 19, we went to Chile's Apple Orchard for apple picking and a pumpkin patch with the Pinsons.
October 24 was Grandparent's Day at Cullen's school. Grandma, Papa, and Pampaw were able to attend and Cullen had a blast showing them his classroom. He also performed a song at the Jefferson with his class. My parents stayed the week after to help with the kids.

We celebrated Halloween at the Tanabe's house with a group of CDS friends. The kids had a blast trick-or-treating. Lila Cate stayed back with dad since it was so cold.
