May was a busy month! We had a lot of birthday parties for Cullen's crew in May - Jaedyn, Grant, Finn, Thomas, and Cullen! Cullen had a Paw Patrol themed party at Forest Hills Park. The kids played at the spray park and on the playground and then we ate pizza and Sticks and had cupcakes. It was a lot of fun!
We went to the Circus on May 3 with the Pinson and Heyn families.
We also went to a King Family Vineyard Polo Match with Cullen's class for an end of the year party.
I had my first night away from Lila Cate on May 17 when we went to Leah's wedding in Charlotte. My mom and Ruth took care of the kids for the weekend. They were a huge help!
Lila Cate milestones
5/3 - Lila Cate has gotten good at sitting up. At the beginning of the month, she would eventually topple over but could still sit on her own for extended periods of time. By the end of the month, she was never toppling over. Around this same time, she started sleeping on her stomach at night. I'll lay her down on her back, but she quickly rolls over to sleep.
5/9 - Lila Cate started waving back to us and by the end of the month, she would wave hi and bye regularly

5/11 - She also started saying Lila and Dada, but doesn't seem to associate the words with the people.
She's still wearing size 2 diapers and 6 month clothing (though they are getting a little snug). She's still exclusively breastfed and loves solids - peas, carrots, sweet, potatoes, green beans - she'll eat it all happily.
