15 Weeks: First Trip to DC

We took a trip down to Reston and Alexandria this past weekend (August 27-29) to stay with Andrew's parents in their new condo and to visit friends. We got in late Friday night and enjoyed some delicious Italian take-out with Mimi while we watched the Saints pre-season game against the Chargers.
After spending ALL of Saturday morning at the Apple store, they were thankfully able to recover my pictures on the crashed laptop (hence the million blog posts today)! I was very happy about that, though it made me very late for lunch. We met Jorie, Ali, Molly, Brandon, and Coleman at Capital City Brewery in Shirlington. The weather was great and we sat outside. Coleman is Molly and Brandon's adorable baby baby, and I'm excited that they finally got to meet! They are only 3 weeks apart. It was great to see everyone. Coleman had had enough by the time the pictures were taken since poor baby had been at the restaurant FOREVER because we were so late. The boys were both really well-behaved and I loved getting my hands on Coleman. He is so cute!
Cullen also got to meet Becca, Robyn's precious 8 month old girl. I had not seen her in about 4 months, and I could not believe how much she had changed. She's a little lady now and so so sweet and cute! She was sitting up perfectly and has the cutest smile ever. She was actually pretty interested in Cullen and we got some sweet pictures of them together. It was so great to see my childhood friend. It's amazing that we met when we were about this age, and now our children are meeting!
Andrew's dad got into town Saturday evening, and we spent Saturday night and Sunday with him and Mimi. It was a great weekend, minus the car trip. Cullen spends most of his time in the car screaming at the top of his lungs, despite our attempts to calm him down in the back seat.
